Welcome to Ubiquitous

We love taxis

We love their iconic shape, which offers a high impact canvas for showcasing any product or brand.

We love taxis because they achieve goals for even the most exclusive brand, help reach sales targets for consumer products and have the potential to take high street brand awareness to a new level.

We know how to make taxi advertising an integral part of your campaign; providing a much richer brand experience for consumers.

Quite simply, we love taxis! We’ve pioneered advertising on taxis for the last 30 years; our directors have been instrumental in the creation of every taxi format available, so we fully understand how to tailor taxis to suit a brief.

Why advertise on black cabs? Their iconic nature helps shape the urban landscape; their trusted service is renowned and their premium heritage is envied globally. What better platform for a brand?

Strategy

This 6-month taxi campaign aims to deliver comprehensive London coverage as part of Zoopla’s national multi-channel ad campaign. The aim is to highlight Zoopla’s detailed market knowledge via multiple ‘local’ copy variances across the impressive taxi fleet; thus closing the gap on market rivals and delivering increased exposure and leads for Zoopla estate agent members.

Galaxy Note

Strategy

To launch our new format for London, the SuperLivery, we sought out an advertiser who would create a campaign to showcase our new ‘taxi domination’ opportunity. As luck would have it, Samsung was looking for a ‘media first’ opportunity to launch the Galaxy Note, so booked 100 SuperLivery cabs for three months in London, as part of a bigger integrated launch campaign for their new product.

Europcar

Campaign title

freeDeliver

Strategy

Europcar’s creative hook was to ask people what they would do with the extra hour gained from the freeDeliver service. Creative copy captured the imagination across taxis, 48 sheets and Underground D6 panels and, by combining Twitter activity, public response to #myextrahour was broadcast on selected DOOH screens. Importantly for this campaign, taxis conveyed the freeDeliver message to people above ground in central London, where coverage from other street-level outdoor media was light.

Client Comment

Ubiquitous Taxi Advertising client Europcar logoThe combination of traditional posters and taxis enabled us to effectively and creatively convey the freeDeliver message to people on the street, and by adding digital screens into the mix we experienced true customer engagement by broadcasting feedback to the #myextrahour Twitter stream. A great example of Outdoor and social media working in tandem.”
