Over thirty years in taxi advertising really does not begin to give you a sense of how instrumental Andrew has been in the progression of taxis as a truly effective sales and brand medium. Every time someone mentions the words MegaSides, SuperSides, or Tip Up Seats, that is a creation of Andrew. Of course, Andrew will hate us for saying all of this stuff as, to him, taxi advertising is all he has ever known. He still gets the same buzz today as he did at the very beginning of his career.

Lisa spent many years agency side at WCRS so she totally understands the real needs of agencies and their clients. Bob, for many years, was a respected, but arch nemesis of Andrew. However, now firmly ensconced at Ubiquitous, Bob and Andrew now combine to bring over 50 years unequivocal experience in taxi advertising.

With a love of brands and a passion for creative marketing, she loves tackling strategies that brings brands to life and engage audiences. Like the rest of the Ubiquitous team, Sarah understands the needs of agencies and clients and is always looking for effective ways to meet them.

Dan joins Ubiquitous as the Head of Media to pursue his new found passion for taxi advertising. After 12 years’ experience in selling a range of outdoor advertising, he has an astute understanding of the market and what is needed to achieve success. Dan is an integral part of the Ubiquitous team and will be focused on developing the sales force and growing revenue.

Finty has a prestigious taxi background: her Aunt and her Grandmother are the first mother/daughter taxi driver combo in London and her Father is a Ubiquitous livery driver. But Finty’s not driving for Ubiquitous; she is working with Sarah in Marketing and is learning the ropes of taxi advertising and Out-of-Home media, having completed marketing placements at Estée Lauder and McCann London.

After completing a three year degree in Film & Broadcast Production, Abbie joined Ubiquitous to start a career in advertising & PR in the summer of 2010. As a key member of the PR Events team, Abbie manages the day to day running of PR events at Ubiquitous; liaising with both clients and drivers on a daily basis and also co-ordinates branded taxis at client events. As well as PR Events, Abbie also organises professional photography of our latest campaigns, oversees general office administration and helps to keep our website updated with our latest activity.

Lauren joined Ubiquitous in 2011 to pursue a career in PR Events. After completing her degree in English and travelling the World she was ready for a new challenge. Working within the PR team, Lauren assists with daily PR activity and administration, liaises with drivers and helps co-ordinate branded taxis for client events. Alongside this, Lauren also organises professional photography for our latest campaigns and takes pride in creating innovative content for our social networking, ensuring both social media and our website are kept up to date with all the latest action.

Simon’s road to Ubiquitous took in qualifying as a Chartered Accountant before 15 years post qualification experience within the Out Of Home arena, including transport, static sites and experiential. In 2009 Simon joined Ubiquitous. He now knows that the road to financial success comes from an outdoor schedule that includes taxis as there are many streets and avenues that have no billboards or buses, but do have taxis.

After 18 months working for the financial Ombudsman Ben started at ubiquitous February 2012. Assisting the financial controller on the day-to-day running of the accounts Ben pays drivers, suppliers, fleets and deals with any payment queries. Currently studying for his AAT qualification to aid his career he’s finding ubiquitous the perfect place to learn his trade.

I am responsible for the smooth running of the Ubiquitous Operations Centre at Tent Street, which incorporates administration of driver details, appointments and the production and fitting of all taxi adverts.
I have been here for three and a half years, having previously managed transport and logistics for a major retailer, so I know how to handle lots of vehicles, which is essential when working here as we have the biggest taxi advertising fleet in the UK!
I have quite literally whipped the team at Tent Street into shape, having installed a gym here! We work together and we work out together, which is a great way to keep body and mind fit and to keep the team motivated.
Every day is a challenge, managing workloads, managing staff, liaising with drivers and fleets and helping clients with their campaign artwork – we do it all here!

Debbie joined Ubiquitous in 2009 as the Office Supervisor. Debbie worked in Crete for 10 years as a holiday representative before joining Ubiquitous. She is the first point of contact for our drivers and oversees everything driver related including booking drivers in to get their adverts changed, deals with driver enquiries, arranges cab checks, and manages the administrative team at our very busy Operations Centre in Tent Street.
Another important aspect of Debbie’s role includes working closely with the PR team to ensure drivers are prepared for PR jobs.

Charlie works within the administrative team at our Operations centre in Tent Street. Charlie deals with our drivers and arranges appointments for them to get advert changes or repair work done. Charlie also deals with our fleet contractors and arranges offsite trips and recruits new taxis.

Catherine’s job role involves working at the front desk of our Operations Centre, greeting visitors and offering them refreshments, maintaining the reception area, screening phone calls, answering enquiries, booking drivers in for advert changes and regularly updating our database.

Commonly known as ‘Peppe’, he has become a versatile employee at Ubiquitous since joining in March 2011. Peppe originally started as a fitter and now predominately works on the Vodafone campaign and liaises with our Vodafone drivers on a daily basis.

Sarah started at Ubiquitous over 4 years ago as a receptionist and has worked her way up to the role of Production Manager. She is responsible for all aspects of production including proofing artwork, liaising with clients, and manages the production team.

After completing his degree in Media Studies, Hany joined Ubiquitous as a Production Assistant. Hany’s passion has always been photography and graphic design so this role was the perfect platform for him to pursue his passion. Hany liaises with clients regarding artwork and proofing, and oversees regional postings ensuring all council criteria is adhered to.

Tony has been with us from the very beginning and has over 15 years’ experience in fitting vinyl taxi adverts. He is the Applications manager and oversees all aspects of the fitting process and supervises our fitting team.

Mark supervises the livery fitting bay which includes checking all the cabs, preparing them for posting and organising fitting teams for each cab. He also oversees quality checks on all cabs.
